Light up the Tree

On Friday 29 November we'll be switching on the lights of Ōamaru's town Christmas Tree for the first time this season.

Ho ho ho! This year’s light up the tree is fast approaching. Join the community from 7pm on Lower Thames Street to welcome in the festive season.

The Waitaki District Youth Council will be raising money for the food bank with a $2 sausage sizzle, there’ll be food from That Food Guy, One Smart Coffee and Real Fruit Ice Creams. Boogie on down with Fondue Party playing live, and get the kids face painted with Pop! Face Art.

From 7pm, tree lighting should be around 9.15pm.
