New Year's Eve - Party at the Gardens

Celebrate the New Year with us at the Ōamaru Public Gardens, with an evening of family-friendly fun.

Magician Jonathan Usher will be our host for the night, with crowd favourites Dee May and the Saints kicking off the entertainment at 6pm, playing a mix of classic hits. DJ Mojo Filter will keep the party going with a lively kids' music set, leading us into an early countdown around 9:15pm. The festivities continue with more music until we ring in the new year at midnight.

Bring your friends and whānau, blanket or deck chairs, and enjoy a picnic while you soak in the atmosphere. We’ll have a range of food options, including That Food Guy NZ, Real Fruit Icecreams, Candy Floss, Curly Fries, and hot drinks. A licensed bar area will be on-site if you want to enjoy a beverage.
