Public Talk: Point Bush Ecosanctuary

Point Bush Ecosanctuary in Waimate, is a fenced 30 year old regenerated native forest alongside public walking and biking trails. It is home to endemic native birdlife and mature native trees. It wasn't always this way - with Bennett's wallabies devastating the area in recent years.

Join Gary and Ann Dennison, Trustees of the Point Bush Ecological Restoration Trust, to learn about their vision to allow the native forest to return, and to create a place where biodiversity, native flora and fauna protection, education and recreation will come together allowing the community to connect with nature into the future.
