The Fibre Studio is run by two neurodivergent friends who share an interest in the fibre arts. Hannah and Mouse are often seen together at craft markets and fibre events around Otago and Southland.

Hannah (The Capricious Crafter) crochets a wide variety of wonderful amigurumi characters. She uses rug tufting to create everything from custom rugs to mug rugs as well as wall hangings, furniture and other accessories. She also sews a variety of fun bibs, seasonal items and gardening and dog accessories.

Hannah is running workshops for learning to crochet amigurumi, rug tufting and punch needle. Workshops will cost between $30 - $300 depending on materials and size of project.

Mouse (The Married Spinster) spins a variety of fibres into handspun yarn. She also hand dyes both yarn and roving. She crochets a variety of accessories and felts small accessories and figures.

Mouse is running workshops on learning how to spin from fleece, dying yarn and roving and different wool felting techniques. Workshops will cost between $20 - $70 depending on materials and size of project.

Workshops will be run during shop hours between 10-1pm and 2-5pm by appointment. Afterhours (6-9pm) and Sun/Mon workshops can also be arranged by appointment depending on numbers and availability.

The shop will be open from Tuesday 15th October until Tuesday 12th of November.
