In Recover the Land, Robert Scott draws from memories, observations and imagined scenes to depict landforms – as they were, as they are, and as they once again could be.
Artist workshop with Robert: Learn how to paint a landscape with artist Robert Scott. He will guide you through his process of planning and developing an idea into an artwork. Working from a photograph, drawing or your imagination. “I will be approaching the workshop from my point of view and experience, I hope to be able to pass on some ideas as to how I tackle a landscape painting.” Robert Scott
When: Saturday 11 May 11-4pm, Education Room at the Waitaki Museum $20 booking fee - book and pay at the Forrester Gallery reception, limited numbers – booking essential - ages 14+ gallery@waitaki.govt.nz Materials: please bring your own acrylic paint/ brushes/pencils. We have limited supplies. We will supply paper and painting boards.
