Tracing the Past

As part of the Cultural Facilities Welcome Back campaign, join Waitaki Museum Curator Henry Buckenham in Tracing the Past at the Waitaki Museum. Henry will help visitors learn about how we construct the past from skeletal remnants and fossils in a fun, hands on activity.

Usual opening times: Tuesday to Friday 10:00am - 4:00pm
Weekends and public holidays including Waitangi Day 10:00am - 12:30pm.
Closed Mondays (unless a public holiday) and Good Friday, Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day.
