Donald & Nellye Malcolm Trust

The Donald and Nellye Malcolm Trust Grant was established in 1984 and is administered by the Waitaki District Council. Applications are invited from charitable and not-for-profit organisations in North Otago. The criteria for applications is at the discretion of the trustees.

Applications open Thursday 1 August 2024 and close Friday 30 August 2024.

Applicants

  • The grant is available for charitable and not-for-profit organisations only. Individuals can not apply.
  • This fund was originally set up with the Oamaru Borough Council and the Waitaki County Council. This means applicants must be in the North Otago area (unfortunately this excludes Waihemo).

Decisions

The Trust Committee meets in late September and applicants are advised of their decision shortly after. Allocations are usually small amounts to many organisations, rather than large amounts to a few.
