Representation Review consultation to open

On Friday 2 August, Waitaki District Council will begin consultation on its Representation Review Initial Proposal for the 2025 and 2028 local elections. The consultation will run until 11.59pm on Wednesday 4 September.

Draft Dog Bylaw and Dog Control Policy unleashed for consultation

Waitaki District Council has opened the consultation for its Dog Bylaw and Dog Control Policy. The consultation will run from Monday 15 July 2024 to Monday 12 August 2024. Submissions can be made online at Lets Talk Dogs, or by dropping a paper copy at Waitaki libraries or Council offices.

A better future for Waitaki’s waste – let’s talk trash!

Public consultation on the draft Waste Minimisation and Management Plan 2024 - 30 (WMMP) for the Waitaki District begins next Monday 29 January.
The WMMP considers how the Waitaki community creates and deals with the refuse and recycling to better protect our environment and reduce the impact of waste.

Consulting on new ways to support economic growth in Waitaki
