Hayley Scrivenor, bestselling Australian author of the award-winning outback mystery, Dirt Town, will be joining BorrowBox content expert, Natasha Boyd, for an in-depth online discussion and Q&A session in the next exclusive online author event.

Originally from a small town, and a former Director of Wollongong Writers Festival, Hayley Scrivenor has a PhD in Creative Writing from the University of Wollongong and lives on Dharawal country, on the east coast of Australia.

 

Her debut novel, Dirt Town, has been shortlisted for multiple national and international awards, has won the ABIA, Davitt and CWA Dagger awards, and has been translated into several languages.

 

Discussion will cover Hayley’s creative process, her instant literary success, the inspiration she draws from the rich Australian landscape, and her latest brilliant release, Girl Falling.
