The annual Waitaki Residents’ Survey will be open between Saturday 1 June 2024 and Sunday 14 July 2024.

The survey is an opportunity for residents of the Waitaki District to provide feedback on all aspects of the Council’s work over the last 12 months.

This year there is a change to how the survey is being conducted. In the past, residents on the electoral roll were randomly selected to complete the survey. Now, the 2024 survey will be open to all residents who live in the district, to give everyone an equal opportunity to participate.

This means all ages can have their say, including under-18s, giving a wider demographic range for feedback.

Council wants to hear from as many people as possible, and each submission will be in the draw to win a $500 Prezzy card, with a limit of one entry per person.

The community will be able to have their say at the Let’s Talk Waitaki online engagement hub, and will need to provide their name and address to go into the draw.

The Residents’ Survey is a useful way to compare our performance against last year’s results, helping inform performance measures in the Annual Report. It will also provide valuable feedback for our transformation programme, as we look to deliver differently for the community.
