From Monday March 3rd, instead of going into Council HQ at 20 Thames Street for enquiries and Council services, you’ll be able to pop into Ōamaru Library during the week or on a Saturday morning.
Plus, you’ll soon be able to do more things and connect with us online anytime, anywhere, because we’re expanding our online services to fit your busy life.
From Monday 3 March, 2025, accessing Council services will be easier and more convenient than ever, right in the Ōamaru Library!
As well as the usual library services here’s some of what you’ll soon be able to do at the library:
To view property files, you'll go to HQ. However you can request them at the Oamaru Library, Waihemo Service Centre, by phone or email.
If you have an appointment with a Council Officer, you can come to HQ as well.
