Instead of going into Council Head Office at 20 Thames Street for enquiries and Council services, you can pop into Ōamaru Library at 62 Thames Street during the week or on a Saturday morning.
The Ōamaru library will be closed this Saturday 15 March as the staff will be down helping at the Ōamaru Friendly Bay Family Fun Day

Last week saw Green By Nature Landscape and Horticultural Services assume responsibility for maintaining parks, reserves, cemeteries and other facilitiesacross the Waitaki District, including the 5-star Oamaru Public Gardens.
The Green By Nature team assembled for a photograph at the depot in the Public Gardens last week, following an induction programme for the new staff.
Lindsay Hyde, Recreation Manager says: "We'd like to welcome Green By Nature as they begin their work of maintaining our beautiful green spaces and facilities throughout Waitaki. We know how important our parks and reserves are to the community, and we know they're in good hands"
