Instead of going into Council Head Office at 20 Thames Street for enquiries and Council services, you can pop into Ōamaru Library at 62 Thames Street during the week or on a Saturday morning.
Select the Escape key to close the menu. Focus will then be set to the first menu item.
Bring the bikes, scooters and the kids down to the Waitaki Bike Skills Park at Oamaru Harbour’s Friendly Bay, next to Oamaru’s popular historic precinct. The bike park is specifically designed for young children to learn basic road safety, in a safe and fun environment .
The bike park has 'stop' and 'give way' signs and a roundabout. It offers children a realistic, safe and fun place to practise their cycling and road safety skills.
To book the Waitaki Bike Skills Park for an event, please complete a booking form(PDF, 265KB). The booking form must be returned to Council at least 10 working days prior to the event to enable time for processing. For more information on our booking process please go to our parks bookings page.
