Are you a rural land or business owner? Do you have questions about consents? If you’re wondering what activities require a consent or you’re not sure who to talk to – we’re making it easy for you to get advice.
Bring your questions to a free drop-in event on 3 March in Ōmārama for a chat face-to-face with people from relevant agencies.
Consenting Matters Mackenzie will be held at the Ōmārama Memorial Hall, 35 Chain Hills Highway, on Friday 3 March from 1pm to 5pm. You don’t need to RSVP, just come along with your questions. Refreshments provided.
The team from Waitaki District Council, Mackenzie District Council, Department of Conservation, Toitū Te Whenua Land Information New Zealand (LINZ) and Environment Canterbury will be there to give you advice on questions including: What activities require a consent or other permission? Which government agency or council should I talk to? What information do I need to apply for a consent?
This is an informal event – feel free to share this invitation with friends or neighbours – or share the Facebook event link.
